The first commercial spaceship that goes beyond the moon is on the way to Deep Space, but the mission suffered from unknown problems when the team competes to get in touch with the probe.
Odin, a small spaceship that was built by ASTROFORGE ASTROFORGE The US world dream reduction, on which start From A Spaceex Falcon 9 rocket on Wednesday (February 26), who sent the country of private intuitive machines towards the moon.
The 265-pound-ODIN (120 kilograms) Odin is intended to receive pictures of Asteroid 2022 OB5 for a follow-up mission called Vestri, which aims to land on the asteroid. The missions are part of Astroforge’s plans to provide room resources on Earth.
At first the signs were good for Odin, and Astroforge posted a picture of the spacecraft that was attached to the upper level in space. However, the team is still working to understand how the spaceship works.
“We do not fully understand the condition of the vehicle,” said Matthew Gialich, co-founder and CEO of Astroforge, in a video update on Friday (February 28th) on X. It is believed that Odin is in a “sun protection mode”, which means that the spaceship is in a thermally safe and power is positive.
“We believe that we are in a power-positive state, although we do not reduce telemetry to confirm this. Hopefully we can get it this evening,” said Gialich. The spaceship is also almost exactly where it was predicted, and enables follow -up with high -weight antennas, Gialich added.
The team believes that there are two options for the problems. The first thing is that everything is fine with the spaceship, but there are problems on Earth, like the soil recipients of Astroforge, which are not properly configured. Alternatively, the spaceship could be in a very slow, uncontrolled fall, although the team believes that it has information that indicates that this is not the case.

The next steps at the time of the update included sending a command to the spaceship to switch on a power amplifier, which then sends a high profit signal back to earth and delivers important data.
Astroforge delivers a live stream of his operations in the course of the mission. At the moment Odin is on the way. “We will be in a deep room and we will be on the other side of the moon in about two days. And nothing will stop us if we don’t meet anything,” said Gialich.
