Amazon may be a Whiz on almost online deliveries, but the huge company has to wait to start the first satellites of its new Internet constellation of the Space Internet after a boom threw an upswing on Wednesday evening.
An United Launch Alliance Atlas V Rocket tried to start Satellites from Amazon by Floridas Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on April 9th 27 of Amazon’s first project Kuiper -Internet, but continued to violate the PAD of the PAD, said Ula officers.
“It is confirmed that we will not continue with the Amazon Project Kuiper 1 start activities today,” said Caleb Weiss, start commentator at ULA during a live stream. “We will work with our partners in the US Space Force Space Launch Delta 45 to get the timing of our next start.”
Bad weather was plagued by Ula during a two -hour flight window that was opened at 7 p.m. Edt (2300 GMT). Start controllers carried out some technical disorders, but were mainly thick cumulus clouds and rain within 10 miles from the pad that violated the Weating rules against the start weather, Ula said.

Project Kuiper is the answer from Amazon to SpaceX ‘Megaconstellation of Starlink satellites to provide high-speed internet worldwide. Amazon hopes to build a constellation of 3,200 broadband satellites in the coming years to experience an insight into the room-based internet market.
While Ula is launching these first Kuiper satellites, Amazon has dismantled a wide range of starting services for the project, including flights to the brand new Vulcan Centaur Rocket from Ula, Arianespace Booster, Blue Origins New Glenn and SpaceX’s Falcon Rocket Family.
In October 2023, Amazon started two Kuiper satellites prototypes on a test flight and paved the way to this first favorite of the first operational satellite starts.
