by Prince William, a long-time Aston Villa fan, brought Prince George to the Princes Parc last week to follow his team in the first leg of the Champions of the Champions League against Paris Saint-Germain.
The Prince of Wales told Sports Expertits Ally McCoist and Rio Ferdinand that it was a big deal to bring Prince George to the Champions League quarter-final of Aston Villa, and he was “nervous” and “quite scared” in advance.
William celebrated and hugged George, who, after Morgan Roger’s opening goal, celebrated, celebrated, celebrated and hugged the team in Birmingham in the first half.

In conversation with the BBC in 2015, William said why he decided to support Aston Villa about some of the larger clubs.
“A long time ago I came to football at school. I looked for clubs. All my friends at school were either united fans or Chelsea fans, and I didn’t want to follow the run of the mill teams,” he said.
“I wanted to have a team that was more medium-sized that could give me more emotional eight-biders.
“Aston Villa always had a great story. I have friends of mine who support Aston Villa, and one of the first FA cup games I went to was Bolton against Aston Villa in 2000. Unfortunately, Villa losing Chelsea.
“It was fantastic, I was sitting with all the fans with my red hat and sat with all the Brummie fans and had a great time. It was the atmosphere, camaraderie and I really had the feeling that I could connect with something.”
A few years later, in 2020, William doubled his argument to follow the club, and added that the history of the team was “always quite close” to him.

“I was born in 82 in the year in which we won the (European) cup, and I have the feeling that the story and the family tree in the villa were always quite close to me.”
The prince was discovered in a number of Villa games over the years from 2013.
He took part in the 2015 final against Arsenal in particular, where he was sitting in the Royal Box in addition to the then Villa owner Randy Learner.
However, the team lost the match with 4: 0 and Prince William presented the trophy to its rival team.
