  • The trained relationship between the United States and Ukraine increases Eutelsat, the European satellite company.

  • The share price was re -established in the middle of the fear that Ukraine could confront disorders of its Starlink access.

  • There is still no clear sign for this, but Eutelsat said it was in discussions with the EU.

The shares of the French satellite provider Eutelsat have tripled in the past two days because the access of Ukraine to Starlink may be threatened.

The shares of Eutelsat at the Paris Exchange rose by 68% on Monday before increasing a further 123% to $ 4.77 the next morning. The prices were rejuvenated at Market Close on Tuesday at 3.79 US dollars.

The leap comes when the United States suspended help to Ukraine on Monday, which leads to fear of disorders of the skills such as Advanced American Air Defens and Internet access on the battlefield.

Starlink, owned by Elon Musks SpaceX, was an important internet provider for the military of Ukraine, and the loss of his services would be a difficult blow for Kyiv’s communication and drone surgery.

This is the key to Eutelsat, which in 2023 brought together with a Starlink competitor Oneweb based in Great Britain.

The satellite company came to the fore when the European leaders say that they strengthen defense spending and at the same time increase the possibility that they could try to close all gaps in the Internet access of Ukraine.

When the share price rose, a spokesman for the Reuters company said that the European Union discussed how it could contribute to the Internet access of Ukraine.

In an explanation to Business Insider, a spokesman for Eutelsat said that the company had “the same skills as Starlink in terms of reporting and latency in Europe”.

“We actively work with European institutions and business partners to provide the provision of additional user terminals for critical missions and infrastructures,” said the spokesman.

Despite the jump this week, the shares of Eutelstat are still far below the past heights. The share reached around $ 33 in mid-2015 and has decreased steadily in the past decade.

Nevertheless, it is unclear whether the Starlink access of Ukraine is at risk.

Musk, a close ally of President Donald Trump, denied a Reuters report from the end of February, in which US officials Starlink cut off Kyiv when it rejected a mineral contract with Washington.

And while the United States partially paid for the Starlink subscription to Ukraine, European countries also finance many terminals. Poland, which pays for about half of the Starlink terminals of Ukraine, said it would continue to finance it.
