Popular Pink Floyd Planetarium Show with an exciting occupation of Jodrell Bank-Events

The popular Pink Floyd Planetarium Show returned to Cheshire in 2025 after a sold -out run last year.

The Jodrell Bank Center for Engagement has announced an exciting series of events in the coming months.

And among them is the highly expected return of the Pink Floyd Planetarium Show, which will be back on April 26th and 27th and May 10th and 11th.

This experience brings the magic of the band’s music to life in a whole new way.

At the beginning of April, the first event in the calendar is the next step in astrophotography.

The event will take place on Tuesday, April 2, from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tickets start at £ 20.

The participants can use tips and techniques by Dr. Anthony Holloway are happy to take breathtaking pictures of the night sky.

The Easter holidays will be a particularly busy time at Jodrell Bank. The activities run from Friday, April 5 to Sunday, April 21.

With every bought ticket, visitors can enjoy a science show, an outdoor area, a site trail and special planetarium demonstrations by Teds Space Adventure, which is ideal for preschool children.

On April 9 and 16, a dome show with Teds Space Adventure will take place at 11 a.m.

The tickets cost £ 5 at the age of four.

This interactive show invites children aged three to seven to join and plant Ted to examine the solar system.

One of the highlights of the month will be the Lovell lecture on April 10, which will focus on the planetary defense and the prevention of asteroid effects.

Tickets from 7.30pm to 9pm costs £ 8.

Fans of space science will enjoy the live streamed lecture by Professor Alan Fitzsimmons, who will discuss Asteroid 2024 Yra and the importance of planet defense.

On May 15, Lovell Lecture Series will set a live streamed presentation by Dr. Sarah Crowther, who will present the first published results of the Osiris Rex mission of NASA.

Tickets from 7.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. are £ 8.

In this lecture, the secrets of asteroid Bennu and the findings about the early solar system are determined.

The astronomy photographer of the year is currently running and will be open until April 27th.

This free exhibition with your site ticket shows award-winning room photography from all over the world.

Every weekend and daily during the school holidays, visitors can enjoy the Great Solar System Adventure Dome Show at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Tickets cost £ 5.

The Space Dome offers immersive planetarium adventure and offers a unique learning experience of our solar system.

For those who appreciate a quieter experience, the relaxed openings on the first Sunday of the month, April 6th and May 4th, offer a quiet start to the day from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

This includes reduced noise and light levels, a relaxed demonstration of the history of the Jodrell Bank and a designated quiet room.
