The British drivers were warned that they could soon finish a fine of £ 1,000 or pursue their driver’s license if they are over 70 years old and not soon take measures.
The driving and vehicle license agency (DVLA) has advised older drivers about the various rules with which they have reached 70.
With the DVLA, an important memory of the renewal of their license was published over the 1970s.
The social media contribution says: “You have to extend your license every 3 years after the age of 70. Do it online, now it’s easy, quick and safe.”
The photo card shows a photo of the driver as well as personal information such as your name, address and date of birth.
It is valid for ten years and has to be renewed with an updated photo to ensure that it remains a realistic similarity.
As soon as you have reached 70, however, it is mandatory to renew your license every three years.
You can continue driving while your driver’s license is renewed under certain conditions.

It is a criminal offense according to the 1988 Road Traffic Act and can be punished with a fine of up to 1,000 GBP.
How to renew your driver’s license
The DVLA advises people to renew them on their official website, as this is the fastest and cheapest method.
Applications cost 14 GBP and are usually processed within five days.
Third -party websites charge additional fees.
The renewal of the post costs £ 17, while this has a fee of 21.50 GBP at a post office.
A DVLA spokeswoman said: “We encourage customers to use GOV.UK as an online application the fastest and cheapest way to renew their driver license for photo cards.
“If you stop driving overall, you should inform the DVLA and return your license as a form of an outdated photo ID.”
