by Apple has announced its plans for its annual worldwide developer conference on which each of its products is updated.
The WWDC event will take place from June 9th to June 13th, said Apple. While it contains some personal events-more than 1,000 developers and students are invited to his Apple Park Campus-most of the week will now take place online.
These online events begin on June 9, at 10 a.m. in the Pacific period or at 6 p.m. in Great Britain with a live streamed keynote. It is streamed on the Apple website, via the Apple TV app and on YouTube, a repetition is made available after it is completed.
This is then pursued with a number of online events that focus on developers: Apple’s “Platforms State of the Union”, in which there are more technical parts of the updates as well as more than 100 technical sessions and laboratories with Apple employees.
Apple’s schedule made it clear that updates would come to all platforms, with the invitation “progress on iOS, iPados, Macos, TVos, Visionos and Watchos” mentioned.
In general, Apple is expected to focus on new AI functions at the event. The company used the WWDC last year to launch Apple Intelligence, its brands -Ki -Tools -but since then it has been involved in controversy.
The introduction of some of the features that were shown during the WWDC, e.g. B. an improved version of Siri, was either delayed or canceled. Apple will probably use the event to exchange changes to other upcoming AI.
Some of these new Apple Intelligence tools can include a new power supply system with which battery can save, as well as non-AI functions.
This includes an almost complete visual redesign of iOS and iPad operating systems, which would bring it more into harmony with the transparent look of visionos that prompted Apple’s Vision Pro Headset.
Siri is expected to play a leading role less. Although it was of central importance for the start of Apple Intelligence, the big update that was promised last year does not yet have to come about, and Apple is supposed to separate Siri from his wider AI tools.
Apple’s new software is usually published immediately after the WWDC event in front of a public beta in summer and autumn in addition to the start of the new iPhones to developers.
