Arne Slot pulls out dinner after the incident with Liverpool Parade

The Liverpool Manager Arne Slot thanked the football community for their support after the incident in the club’s title parade, whereby the Dutch outer a label dinner out of solidarity with those affected.

Slot was awarded the manager of the year on Tuesday evening and at the Premier League Manager of the Year at the Liga Managers Association (LMA) after letting the Angard Club to a 20th top top title.

However, he was not present at the ceremony in London after making the decision to stay away to support the affected people. More than 50 people had to be treated in the hospital, with 11 still under medical care under medical care after a car was driven to a crowd in Water Street in the city center on Monday.

“As you will know, a shocking incident took place in Liverpool yesterday, in which dozens of men, women and children who had participated in our parade had injured, and as a result, I had to withdraw from the event with all those affected,” said Slot in an explanation.

“This is not a decision that I have easily made, but it is one that I am absolutely right in view of the severity of the situation. I hope that I have your understanding in this regard.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the broader football community, including the LMA itself, the Premier League and many clubs that are represented this evening, for the support we have received in the last 24 hours.

“I would also like to pay tribute to the emergency services and other authorities in Liverpool. Together with the supporters and spectators who helped themselves in an hour of need, everyone who is involved in the consequences deserves gratitude from all of us.”

Slot enjoyed an excellent first campaign on Merseyside after completing Jürgen Klopp’s successor with several games last summer.

Klopp was one of five managers who were recorded in the LMA Hall of Fame 1000 Club, with Jose Mourinho, David Moyes, Ian Holloway and Mick McCarthy also recognized for the administration of 1000 competition games in their career.

Sonia Bombastor was appointed women’s leader of the Super League of the Year after led Chelsea through an unbeaten campaign, while Daniel Farke acquired the championship manager of the year after Leeds won the second division to return to the Premier League.

Birminghams Chris Davies and Doncaster’s Grant McCann were awarded after the actions of the first or second league.
