Liverpool had first talks about the signing of Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong. It is expected that the Reds will be on the market for a new right-back this summer after Trent has turned out to Alexander-Arnold and will leave the club for Real Madrid, and Frimpong, who mainly plays back as a right wing or as a right wing player, is being considered to replace the English international.

Frimpong is in Bayer Leverkusen in his fourth full season after he had come to the Bundesliga Club of Celtic in January 2021 after he had spent 16 months with the Glasgow Club for almost a decade after he left Manchester City.
City, Manchester United and Chelsea are also mentioned as clubs that are potentially signed, Frimpong, who is also an established Netherlands.
