The Brazilian Wonderkid Estevao Willian will not join Chelsea for the summer World Cup, his agent confirmed.
Estevao is currently pursuing his trade for Palmeiras and has been overturned since Neymar Jr. as the most promising talent in Brazil. In June 2024, he signed at Chelsea for a reported £ 29 million, a fee that could increase to 55 million GBP with add-ons.
After his age of 18, he will join his new teammates this summer, but it was unclear whether he would take part in Chelsea’s Club World Cup campaign in time in June.
In a new interview, however, the Brazilian agent Andre Cury confirmed that the player would take part after completing the competition.
With AS he said: “Yes, he arrives after the World Cup.
“He is a world-class player. Very good. A guy who will write history here.”
As a result, Estevao will probably play the World Club Championship for Palmeiras, where he could possibly play against Chelsea.
Cury has mastered some of the most valuable transfers in football history, including Neymar’s movements from Santos to Barcelona and further to Paris Saint-Germain.
He added that Estevao, who had already claimed four high -ranking brazil caps, received from PSG and Bayern Munich among the “other” other European clubs.
Estevao’s amazing talent brought him the nickname ‘Little Messi’ in Brazil, and it is expected that he is connected to the Brazilian teammate Andrey Santos when he arrived in Chelsea. Santos joined the blues in 2023 and borrowed the 2024-25 season in Chelsea’s sister Club Strasbourg, where he was wearing the Captain’s bracelet.
This summer also comes the similarly astonishing Ecuadorian winger Kendry Paez, who signed DEL Valle industrial. At the beginning of this month he was trained with Strasbourg because he would borrow his first European season with the Ligue -1 outfit.
Enzo Maresca said he monitors the player’s progress: “Yes, we follow him. He makes it fantastic – but unfortunately he is fantastic and not with us.
“We are certainly very happy about the way he does these things.”
The New Look Club World Championship begins on June 15 in Miami, with games in the USA, Canada and Mexico. Manchester City will also contest the tournament.
