Fashion hits confectionery in Maybourne Beverly Hills with a debut with a stylish afternoon tea

The Maybourne Beverly Hills presents the collection for red carpets, the American version of the famous Prêt-à-porttea London. The fashionable turn of the hotel at the afternoon debut this weekend, in which start-level-to-teatime transformations with equal parts are couture and confectionery.

The chef Brooke Martin reinterpreted masterful masterful iconic moments on the red carpet as nine delicious delicacies. Björk’s infamous Oscars Swan dress from 2001 takes a gate Pavlova with a passion fruit ganache, while Jennifer Lopez ‘groundbreaking green versace number appears as a tropical coconut mousse with pineapple lime chutney on Pistachio Sponge. Michelle Williams’ Safran Vera Wang dress from the 2006 Oscars is inspired as a biscuit with lemon vanilla Royal Icing and Lupita Nyong’o’s Perl-Embellished Calvin Klein-Dress from the Oscars 2015.

The legendary fashion Tea started almost two decades ago at the Berkeley Hotel in London and ends up in Los Angeles in the heart of the award ceremony when the city buzzes with the red carpet before excitement.

The hotel’s terrace room is located with Hollywood Glamour, which is only a stilt throw from the Rodeo Drive. The confectionery is presented on peach and white striped Bernardaud China, which creates an Instagram moment that is designed as carefully as the inspirations of the red carpet itself.
