This is the first picture of a “very bright” student who was shot by armed men on a moped disguised as a deaf driver.

Lathaniel’s family said that the 16-year-old boy was targeted on Tuesday afternoon at the bright daylight near the Stockwell Tube Station in southern London.

In addition to paradise, metropolitan police officers were called to the Paradise Road at 3:21 p.m., but the boy’s life could not be saved.

He was declared dead at the crime scene. No arrests have yet been made.

A resident who said she knew the boy’s mother, said Lathaniel was “very bright in school” and said that his father worked in a nearby go-karting facility.

Scotland Yard said it was at speed to confirm the boy’s identity and follow his Next-of-Kin.

Superintendent Gabriel Cameron, who heads the local police reaction, said: “This is an enormously shocking incident that I can imagine causing great burdens to the local community.

“Our thoughts are with the boy’s family in this devastating time.

Aftab Khan, 18, who was going to a corner shop near the street in which the incident took place, said that the teenager had often come into the store and described him as a “nice child”.

He told the Telegraph: “He would always say hello. I saw him yesterday – he bought a bottle of Fanta. He would always pay me back if I had him drink something for free if he didn’t have enough money. He was a good guy.

“Now I can’t go outside – I’m afraid. It’s a very bad area. “

A resident of Stockwell said Mylondon said that she was “shocked to the core” that such an incident could happen to a child in the area.

Another resident who knew Lathaniel said that she was desperate to hear the news and said that her own son died a few years ago during a stab.

And a young woman who lives nearby said: “This area is not safe at night. There are many teenagers who cause many problems living around here.

“They hang around at night and play around with the bulls. Things like playing with fireworks and runs by the police. But it can get serious. Someone I know was stabbed for some time last year.

“I think about where the cameras are when I go at night, but there are no cameras in this area (the shootout).

She spoke about the shootout and said that the attackers had “no shame either, there is a primary school next door”.

An older resident who lives nearby said: “This area has not been the case since the 80s.”

The mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, added: “My thoughts are with the family, friends and the wider community in Stockwell after the shocking fatal shooting of a 16-year-old boy.

In an explanation of the Lambeth Council it says: “We are destroyed that a teenager was shot in Stockwell today.”
