The Juggernaut “Fortnite” by Epic Games returns to the iOS app Store in the USA.
According to judicial documents that were preserved and checked by diversityA district court in California found that Apple intentionally violated the court decision partners in the Epic Games. “For the reasons specified here, the Apple court will not be tolerated in the event of intentional violations of the injunction of this court in 2021, which are not tolerated to restrict and prohibit Apple against the competitive prices and the continued attempts by Apple,” said judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers in the documents.

Epic’s lawsuit against Apple argued that the technology company acts as a monopoly and a reduction of all in-app purchases by 30% in the ban on payout methods of external contracts.
“This is an injunction, no negotiation. There is no do-over as soon as a party deliberately ignores a court decision,” the court documents remain. “Time is of crucial importance. The court is not tolerated any further delays. As before, Apple will not hinder the competition. Apple prohibits Apple the implementation of its new antique motif laws to avoid compliance with the interim decision.
Rogers’ Registration also said that Apple’s VP of Finance, Alex Roman, under oath, “lied directly to the Court of Justice”: “In strong contrast to Apple’s initial statements on the pitch, show that contemporary business documents knew exactly what it did, and the anti -encompetive option has selected at every step.”
In August 2020, Apple officially drilled “Fortnite” and other epic games from the App Store and hired the developer account of the Games Company after the EPIC submitted a cartel lawsuit against the tech giant.
Tim Sweeney Tim Sweeney, founder and CEO of Epic Games, replied to the results of the court in a series of articles on X. “No fees for web transactions. Game for Apple Tax. Apple’s 15-30% junk fees are now as well as in the United States of America as in Europe after the Digital Markets Act.
SWEENEY wrote in another post: “We will return to the USApp Store next week,” added that it still has to be done on an international standard. “Epic shows a peace proposal: If Apple expands the friction-free, Apple-tax-free framework of the court worldwide, we will return ‘Fortnite’ worldwide and drop current and future legal disputes on this topic.”
In a call to the press on Wednesday evening, Sweeney explained the court’s decision and added: “It is an enormous victory for developers. This means that all developers can offer both Apple payment services side by side with their own payment services.
“What this does is that Apple is forcing it to compete with other payment services instead of blocking them,” Sweeney continued. “We have all the time. We always recognized Apple’s right to do our own business. Your right to operate your own payment service. We always wanted a level competitive conditions in which developers can compete with Apple to offer their own products, and then consumers can select the best and have the best product won.”
SWEENEY also spoke of “Fortnites” cheeky in-game outfit “Tart Tart Tycoon”, which was presented in 2020 and represented a threatening businessman with an apple-shaped head. “The tart -Tycoon -outfit in Fortnite was a symbol for apple that blocked ‘Fortnite’. We offered it free of charge in the #Freefortnite cup. Outfit.”
Apple did not react immediately diversity‘s request for comment.
