“I joined the group here from January.

“The intensity in the play – I learned a lot about it.

“The piece is much faster in this aspect. I have a lot to improve.

“What I need the most is to improve the language.

“I learn. I have a lot of English lessons to learn faster and adapt to the culture here.”

Gomez was in tears in tears after opening his Prem account with the kind of long-distance lureer that is a trademark of his compatriot and good friend Julio Enciso.

He said: “It was very emotional for me because I worked so hard to achieve his goal.

“I was very grateful at the end of the season.

“Julio sent me a message after the game and said it wasn’t quite like him, but luckily it went in!

“He congratulated me on the goal.”

The two will join together to play for Paraguay to win their place at the 2026 World Cup final.

“My thoughts are now returning to the national team.

“We will think about the last two games.

“Even with the experience in Prime Minister, I think that we are all the same in the national team.

“Nobody is better than everyone else and they support their teammates in the same way.

“I don’t feel like the best or the like, I just try to help the team.

“Maybe now I’m a player who feels a little more experienced

“I always try to help the team and give the best of me to help the team.”
