If you have ever wondered what a seven-time Formula 1 world champion eats to fuel your energy, performance and well-being, you have come in the right place. Over the years, Lewis Hamilton has spoken about the advantages of a plant -based diet, not only for his health, but also for his performance on the track. Inspired by his success, I decided to record Hamilton’s herbal nutrition to see what the whole excitement was about.
As a long -standing vegan hybrid athlete who brings up running with strength training (and approaches 40), I am not a stranger to use a herbal diet to promote my sporting performance, increase recovery and support general health.
But Hamilton’s approach woke my curiosity. How would his version of the plant -based food, which avoids nutrient -rich whole foods and avoids processed garbage, influenced my training and recovery?
The following went when I ate Lewis Hamilton for a week.
I concentrated on nutrient -rich whole food for energy

Hamilton is by no means a “junk food vegan”. He drives his body with nutrient -rich foods that support performance and recovery so that he can stay at the top of his game. His daily meals focus on vegetable proteins, healthy fats and complex carbohydrates to maintain the energy level, to promote muscle recovery and to keep your body in a peak condition.
For breakfast every day I had half an avocado and a smoothie, two staples in Hamilton’s plant -based diet, it says Health of men. Studies show that avocados are loaded with healthy fats that support the brain function and duration, while smoothies are a convenient way to pack protein on plant base and tons of other essential nutrients such as fiber.
I just kept my smoothie ingredients: only water, a cup of frozen mixed berries and a ball of protein powder. I used the vegan protein powder of Roh Nutrition, which contains 20 grams of clean protein on a plant -based protein. (In addition, the cookies & creme aroma is the next level!)
Trista Best, RDA registered nutritionist at Balance One Supplements explains why vegetable diets like Hamilton can be so effective. “Plant -based nutrition focus on complex carbohydrates that offer steady energy frequency that are ideal for maintaining workouts with high intensity and long training sessions.”
Usually I skip breakfast, switch off a few oats and berries or eat a banana with peanut butter in the past, only to be hungry again and a half later. After I followed Hamilton’s lead and nutrient -rich foods such as avocado, fruit and herbal protein in my breakfast, my energy level was more balanced and I felt more focused all day.

I fueled my training with herbal protein

Lunch and dinner were super easy: hearty salads full of vegetables and herbal proteins such as beans, tofu and temp. I love this kind of meals, so I was ampass to try them out. Accordingly Health of menHamilton often enjoys currys, falafels and other dishes in the Middle East on a plant -based basis and ensures that he receives a variety of nutrients to support its active lifestyle.
At the end of day 1 I already noticed that my body reacted well. I usually eat a big lunch (and an even bigger dinner) and I think I have to run all the calories that I burn, run and weight lifting.
But Hamilton’s approach to herbal food revolves around to get plenty of protein instead of consuming and feeling serious meals. I started to feel the same way. Protein is essential for the recovery of the muscles and maintaining muscle mass, and Hamilton’s nutrition does not play on it.

I ate fewer calories and felt better than ever before
As a hybrid athlete and parent of two young children, there are usually large amounts of food to fire my intensive training and my hectic lifestyle. After the vegetable diet of Hamilton, however, I had to be clear that I didn’t have to eat so much to still feel great.
Although I had eaten fewer calories than usual, I felt more focused, energetic and slimmer than for ages. The meals of Hamilton are nutrient -rich, but not excessively calorie -fat, and I noticed improvements in my digestion, mood and energy level.
The best thing to do is tell us: “A diet recorded on a plant -based diet is in saturated fats and with a high fiber by nature, which can help to maintain a slim body while still building muscles.”

I have experienced improved recovery and perseverance
As an athlete who is hard in the gym and during the runs, I was excited to see whether Hamilton’s herbal diet would help me recover faster and strengthen my endurance.
The meals of Hamilton are filled with anti -inflammatory foods that support recovery, including antioxidative richer berries, leafy vegetables and cross blooms. I made sure that these are included in my meals, especially after intensive training sessions. The high fiber content and the anti -inflammatory properties of these food have accelerated my recovery and reduced the pain, so that I was able to train with intensity the next day.
“Diets on a vegetable basis are rich in antioxidants and polyphenols that help to reduce physical inflammation and sore muscles,” explains best. “This can lead to faster recovery times and an improved performance over time.”

I built slim muscles while I remained energetic
A challenge of a plant -based diet, especially for athletes, is to ensure that you get enough protein. Fortunately, the diet of Hamilton is packed with lean proteins on a vegetable basis such as lentils, tofu, nuts and beans. Research shows that all amino acids and essential nutrients are necessary to support muscle building and recovery.
The food of these foods helped me build muscle while I stayed slim. Best says: “Proteins on a plant -based basis can help to maintain muscle mass without the heavy animal proteins and keep them agile and strong.”
Hamilton revealed that he usually has a large salad with vegetables and a kind of plant protein for lunch. I would usually snap a few handful of spinach, kale or Swiss, a chopped vegetables such as zucchini, asparagus, pepper, tomatoes, cucumbers or carrots, add a protein source such as Temph or Tofu and a healthy homemade salad torn with tahini, seesalz, nutrient -yeast, nutrient, nutrient, nutrient, nutrient -Yeast, Garlic and Garlic, and Garlic, and Garlic powder, and Garlic and Garlic and Garlic Powder and Garlic Powder and Garlic Powder and Garlic Pulsation and Tani, Mese Salt
I recovered faster and felt more concentrated

While herbal diets may require more planning and intentions, the advantages far outweigh the challenges. Until the fourth day I feel mentally, more focused and recovered faster from my workouts. The fiber -rich diet of Hamilton increased my intestinal health and my nutrient absorption, which made a big difference in my digestion.
As best expressed:
When it comes to snacking, I reached for a little rich in protein, fiber and healthy fats to saturate myself without consuming excess calories. My go-to-snack was a simple Greek yogurt on oat base with some blueberries, almonds and structured vegetable protein that was sprinkled for an additional protein thrust over it. For a sweetener I added a few drops of liquid vanilla stevia, a delicious calorie -free option.
I felt slimmer and more agile

I also noticed subtle changes in my body. HAMALTON’s vegetable nutrition is lower than my typical diet in saturated fats and calories. After just a few days I felt slimmer and agile.
The best thing to do is explain: “Slim body composition is one of the advantages of eating on a vegetable basis, since it is by nature lower in saturated fats and high fibers, which can help to maintain a slim body when building muscles.”
Hamilton’s dinner usually consist of a hearty curry bowl. For dinner I made a healthy homemade curry sauce with soaked cashew nuts, nutrition yeast, salt and curry powder, which I would add to a base of long grain -brown rice, lots of vegetables (normally broccoli or cauliflower with a shredded carbon) and added with black beans for extra protein. This meal is incredibly filled, but it does not let it be sluggishly, only to be energized and ready.
Should you try Hamilton’s herbal diet?
In summary, after eating Lewis Hamilton, I felt more energetic, focused and agile for a week in my training. The meals on a plant -based basis were full of nutrient -rich whole food, which helped me to recover faster while I built up lean muscle at the same time and improved endurance.
Regardless of whether you are an athlete or just want to increase your health and energy level, Lewis Hamilton’s herbal nutrition is a worthwhile investment that can change your physical performance and general well-being.
