Inter Milan, Monterrey, join Dortmund at the Club World Championship in the last 16

Inter Milan kept her cool to hit the nine man River Plate 2-0 and reach the World Cup on Wednesday, while Mexican side Monterrey followed them from Group E.

Borussia Dortmund defeated Ulsan HD 1-0 to claim the top position in Group F, and the Germans will compete against Sergio Ramos’ Monterrey, the Urawa Red Diamonds 4-0.

The Argentinian PowerHouses River Plate was removed by Inter after its defeat, which will take over on Monday in Charlotte in the form of Fluminense against South American opposition.

The Brazilian team was only able to go 0-0 against South Africa’s Mamelodi-Sundowns, but it was enough to take second place behind Dortmund.
