Katy Perry went on the square in all-wife flight into space

Pop star Katy Perry will be the biggest name in a purely female group that touches the edge of space on Monday and penetrates the cosmos in one of the rockets of billionaire Jeff Bezos.

The singer “Firework” and “California Gurls” is defeated more than 100 kilometers above the surface of the earth in a ship made of Blue Origin, the Space Company of the Amazon founder, above the surface of the earth.

Five other women, including Bezos’ fiance Lauren Sanchez, will join the flight, which will blow out western texas around 8:30 a.m. (1,330 GMT).

Your fully automated vehicle will increase vertically before the crew capsule loosens in the middle of the flight and later falls back to the ground, which is slowed down by parachut and a retro rocket.

The mission on Monday is the first purely female space crew since Valentina Tereshkova’s historical solo flight in 1963.

It is also the 11th sub-orbital surgery of Blue Origin, which has offered the experiences of space tourism for several years.

The company does not publicly communicate the award for trips, which is made possible by its new Shepard rocket.

The flight will bring passengers beyond the Karman line – the internationally recognized limit of space.

There will be a short time in which the women flew away from their seats and hover in gravity in zero.

– ‘Inspiration’ –

Perry recently told Elle Magazine that she participated “for my daughter Daisy”, which she shares with the actor Orlando Bloom, “to inspire her to never limit her dreams.”

“I am just so excited to see the inspiration through her eyes and light in her eyes when she sees that this rocket is going, and she goes back to school the next day and says’ Mama went into space,” added Perry.

Perry, who started on the international stage with her 2008 hit “I Kissed A Girl”, is sitting with the TV presenter Gayle King, film producer Kerianne Flynn, former NASA scientist Aisha Bowe and Amanda Nguyen, founder of a campaign group against sexual violence.

They follow 52 earlier blue passengers, including the long -time “Star Trek” leading man William Shatner.

Such top -class guests are said to have the public interest in the work of Blue Origin, as they are fighting several competing companies in the field of space tourism.

Bezos’ top challenger in passenger flights is Virgin Galactic, which offers a similar sub orbital experience.

In the future, however, Blue Origin aims to bring space tourists to orbit and to compete directly with Elon Musk SpaceX.

In January, Blue Origins successfully completed its first unmanned orbital mission.
