Microsoft examines failures that meet Outlook services in Greater Manchester

Microsoft has confirmed that it is investigating a problem with which users in Greater Manchester cannot access Outlook functions and services.

Users who were published on Saturday evening on social media about failures with their e -mail accounts. According to the Service Status website Downdetektor, users began to report problems with the services of the Tech giant at 8.40 p.m.

According to the website, almost 9,000 reports were obtained at 9:15 p.m., whereby the problem in particular affects users in London and Greater Manchester, although other areas of the country were hit.

Microsoft said in a post on X: “We are investigating a problem in which users may not be able to access Outlook functions and services.”

In a subsequent post shortly afterwards, it added: “We check the available telemetry and customer protocols to understand the effects.

“We have confirmed that this problem affects various Microsoft 365 services. We have identified a potential cause of effect and returned the alleged code to relieve the effects. We monitor telemetry to confirm the recovery. “

The Tech -Riese also experienced a failure in November that had its e -mails and team collaboration.

No further details were revealed.
