Musk claims that the Tech giants have “blocked” the markets for Xais Chatbot Grok, which make it difficult to scale and innovate – Anadolu

Elon Musk has filed a lawsuit against Apple and Chatgpt Maker Openai and accused companies of conspiring against his AI business.

In the lawsuit submitted by Mr. Musks Xai and his social media platform X, it is claimed that the two tech giants have involved a “contrary” program to maintain their dominance.

An exclusive agreement for embedding chatgpts software into the iPhone made it more difficult for the rivals such as the Chatbot Grok from Xai to scale and be innovative. Apple also accused other chatbots and so-called “super apps” in his App Store.

The lawsuit that strives for billions of dollars added: “Working with tandem, the accused Apple and Openai have locked up the markets to maintain their monopolies and prevent innovators like Xai at the competition.”

The lawsuit, which was submitted to the Federal Court in Texas, pursues the threat of Mr. Musk to sue Apple, and comes after a bitter public dispute with the Openai founder Sam Altman.

In a contribution to X, the Tesla billionaire Apple accused a “clear violations of antitrust law” and said that the iPhone manufacturer “behaves in a way that does not make it to any AI company except Openaai to achieve #1 in the App Store”.

In response to this, Altman wrote: “This is a remarkable claim, since I have heard that Elon X manipulates to benefit from X and his own companies and to damage his competitors and people that he does not like.”

Mr. Musk then described Mr. Altman as the “liar” and asked the Openai boss to ask the Tycoon whether he would sign a jury legal explanation in which he explained that he had never made changes to the X -Algorithm to either make his own company or damage accessible.

It is the latest collision in a persistent feud between the two billionaires, both of whom contributed to founding Openai. Mr. Musk left the tech startup after having come out with Mr. Altman because of his non-profit status.

The X boss has already submitted a separate lawsuit against Openaa for claims that he was misleaded in the investment in the company. The Chatgpt Maker submitted a counteruit that accused him of “illegal harassment”. A trial version is planned next year.

Mr. Musk has also criticized Apple’s Store fees, which can take up to 30 percent of app expenses. The United States has already filed a lawsuit against Apple for claims that it monopolized the smartphone market, while the iPhone manufacturer is also exposed to potential suggestions in Great Britain and the EU.

It happens that Mr. Musk tries to improve the AI skills of his companies to compete with competitors such as Openaai and Chinese Startup Deepseek.

In March, Xai acquired Mr. Musk X for $ 33 billion in a deal that enables the tech company access to further data to train his chatbot. The Tycoon also integrated Grok into cars that were produced by its Tesla electric vehicle company.
