NASA takes on top scientists and MPs because they implement DOGES job cuts in which hundreds of space agency are left

NASA has started to conduct discharge from Elon Musk at the behest of the Trump administration and the Department of Government.

In an e -mail sent on Monday and divided on social media, the incumbent administrator Janet Petro said that the agency’s reductions were gradually and occurred in front of a reorganization plan.

“We will close the office for technology, politics and strategy of NASA, the office of chief scientist as well as the diversity, justice, inclusion and accessibility in the office for diversity and equal opportunities as well as the reduction of their workforce in the office for diversity and opportunities,” said Petro.

She said that those who were affected by the changes were “valued members” of NASA and realize that their work had contributed to the recent successes.

“I know that these messages are difficult and can affect all of us differently. The change in this size is never easy, but our strength comes from our joint commitment to our mission and each other. I am grateful for your professionalism and resilience and encourage you to support each other while we go forward. Take the challenge, ”wrote Petro.

The strong reaction to the decisions began to pour on social media.

“These are talented people who believe in the job they do, and it is absolutely not the way to help our country,” wrote the assistant professor of Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Meredith MacGregor, on the Bluesky platform.

“NASA is small, but it is probably the most legendary and globally popular agency in American history.
