Pistons Snap NBA Playoff Skid, Vintage Leonard Leads Clipper

The Detroit Pistons scored their record-NBA playoff loss of the NBA playoffs with a 100: 94 win against the New York Knicks on Monday to run their first round of the Eastern Conference each.

Cade Cunningham scored 33 points with 12 rebounds, and Dennis Schroder added 20 points from the bank to a starting shot with three pointers with 55.7 seconds ahead when the Pistons thwarted another kink rally range.

The Los Angeles Clippers also jumped back from the game and defeated the Nuggets 105-102 in Denver behind a brilliant 39-point performance by Kawhi Leonard.

Leonard made 15 of his 19 shot attempts, and the Clipper’s most valuable Nikola Jokics Triple-Double of 26 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists to run their Western Conference series 1-1.

The pistons, for the first time since 2019 in the playoffs, achieved their first playoff win since the game four of the final of the Eastern Conference 2008 against the Boston Celtics.

Two days after the Knicks had written a 21-0 value for the rally in the first game, the pistons were pushed to the goal in a rapid, physical encounter in Madison Square Garden.

They led in the third quarter of up to 15, but the Knicks had reduced the deficit to eight into the final period.

The New York star Jalen Brunson scored 14 of his 37 points in the fourth and fed Josh Hart for a dunk, who brought him together with 1:15 with 94-94.

But Schroder immediately replied and drilled a three pointer that finally brought the pistons into the lead.

The Knicks came empty on three straight owners, while Schroder and Jalen Duren had connected to the free -wire line to seal the victory of Detroit.

Tobias Harris scored 15 points and scored 13 rebounds and Duren had 12 points and 13 boards for the pistons who organize the third game on Thursday.

“Feeling good to represent the city like this evening,” said Cunningham. “It is something that the city has been waiting for for a long time, so we feel good and we are ready to return to the cot and appear before you.”

Knicks trainer Tom Thibodeau was upset about what he regarded as an inconsistent office, and noted that the pistons went to the Knicks 19 34 times.
