However, the 39 -year -old Ramos believes that his former club, the Spanish giants Madrid, are the real team they should beat.
“Real Madrid are always favorites in big competitions,” Ramos told Inter.
“Real Madrid are the best in the world, because the club and players have the mentality that has been sewn there for so many years.”
Madrid has a new coach in Xabi Alonso and the youngest arrivals Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen.
“Xabi’s arrival will be interesting, he won everything as a player and he knows how the club works,” said Ramos.

“That could help him a lot in this new era.”
Ramos said Madrid’s failure to win a large trophy this season did not go back to the marquee last summer, with which he had signed Kylian Mbappe, with which he played at PSG.
“In the next five or ten years I would bet that Kylian will take four or five balloon d’Or awards home,” said Ramos.
The former captain of Real Madrid went off in 2021 and said he would prefer not to face his former team in the United States.
“It is always nice to stand against your old teammates, but if we don’t hit it, it would be much better-both you and we can avoid this discomfort,” he added.
