According to reports, the midfielder of Real Madrid, Luka Modric, seems to plan his resignation in football by buying a minority stake in Swansea City.
The 39-year-old, whose contract with Real Madrid runs at the end of this season, takes over an unmistakable participation in the championship.
Modric should join the shareholders Andy Coleman, Brett Cravatt, Nigel Morris and businessman Jason Cohen. The eight-year term of Levien and Kaplan was characterized by relegation from the Premier League, a lack of investments and a Merry GO circuit for managers, which has been taking this year when manager Luke Williams went in February.
Modric, the Croatian national team captain, will continue to play for the Spanish Giants and have his new entry into possession.
Swansea is 12th in the championship and was flirted with relegation until a recent increase in the form of caretaker head coach Alan Sheehan.
Modric played against Swansea twice during his four -year spell in Tottenham, in December 2011 moved to the home square of the Swans’ Home Ground, which was then known as Liberty Stadium, and won 3-1 in April 2012.
