If the 27-year-old leaves Red Bull, the team would have to fill a huge gap.

But it seems that Red Bull is planning a potential Verstappen, as the team leader Christian Horner organized some informal chats with George Russell.

According to the race, this is that discussions have already taken place between the Red Bull Chief and the Mercedes driver.

The report states: “Sources indicate that the director of Russell and Red Bull, Christian Horner, has recorded some informal chats in the past few weeks.

“A Red Bull move to go Russell when he knows that he will lose his Star driver, could be particularly fascinating if Verstappen does not decide for Mercedes -but choose Aston Martin or a year on the edge.”

The 27 -year -old Russell has won a race this season, but won the Grand Prix Las Vegas and the Austrian Grand Prix at the F1 Championship 2024.
