Selby Town finally saw her play-off hopes on Saturday with an average 4-0 home defeat against Dearne & District, which had already secured her position in the playoffs.
Jason Circuit gave visitors a half-time lead and goals in the second half of Jamie Austin with two, and Taylor Nicholson added the score.
In fact, Selby was the man of the game, goalkeeper Joe Wilton, who had an inspired game and without his contribution, the goal line can be easily doubled.
Town made a few changes in their format for the game, with Liam Love and Finlay Wade missing the game. Brennan McNulty and Matty Dawes returned to start 11.
In front of a lot of 301, the Robins were under pressure from the first pipe and McNulty made a timely duel to admit a corner as a Dearne attack.
The visitors thought they had received the opening goal in seven minutes, but the effort was not allowed for a foul against Wilton. Shortly afterwards, Wilton made a great block on the edge of his punishment and the revised goalkeeper then put a clever salvation in front of a scratchy race track drive.
At the other end, a Caden -McGrath cross was led by Sam Calvert, but the ball was cleared.
Dearne had another chance when Jack Normanton made a shot wide with only Wilton, and after another great block, the goalkeeper was finally beaten after 31 minutes when Circuit pushed the ball off the edge of the 18-yard area.
The second half opened with Jack Bull, who brought in a great duel to give a corner, and minutes later the city had its clearest chance of a goal when Ellis Pickard received a hand to the ball in the visit to clear the foot from Calvert.

Eight minutes after the end, two three, when Nicholson, who hit the back corner of the network, was hit by the right.
Seconds before the last pipe that Dearne scored her fourth goal, and Austin his second when he scored home from 10 meters
