Selena Gomez ‘rare beauty organizes his fourth annual peak of mental health on May 1st in Los Angeles.
“When I brought rare beauty to the market, I wanted to create a brand with greater importance and a vision to create an inviting community that could shape positive conversations about self -acceptance and mental health,” Gomez, founder of Rare Beauty and The Rare Impact Fund, told WWD in an exclusive explanation.

“When I have the effects of initiatives such as our summit of mental health that brings this vision to life, I am incredibly proud of the community we created,” she continued.
So far, more than 20 million US dollars have been collected for the rare impact fund, the non -profit organization of the brand, which deals with the expansion of consciousness for mental health. With 1 percent of all rare beauty sales in the Rare Impact Fund, initiative 30 organizations for mental health supports five continents and reaches an annual average of 1.9 million young people. The aim is to collect $ 100 million.
This year’s summit, which takes place in the city center of LA, is a one -day event that greeted around 175 guests for interactive discussions about self -acceptance and mental health (similar to the summit organized in New York 2024). The line -up contains a locking company chat with Jay Shetty, the British life coach and podcaster.
In September 2020, Gomez started a rare beauty next to her team, which also includes managing director Scott Friedman, although the idea for the brand was pre-pandemic. “Mental health has developed as an outstanding concern for Gen Z, so we are proud to offer a platform such as the summit of rare beauty health in order to address the mental health of young people,” said Cohen in an explanation. “With this event, our goal is to combine young people from all over the world with some of the most influential voices in mental health and education for a day that devotes themselves to the promotion of open discussions and the reduction in the mental health associated with mental health.”
