What is that?

In the early morning hours of April 21, 2025, SpaceX started with its 32nd delivery of supplies for the international space station, an unexpected Dragon spaceship. After the first stage of the Falcon 9 Rocket completed its part of the ascent, he separated from the second stage of the booster to start his return to earth.

The first stage is still high in the atmosphere and draws some of his engines in such a way that they carry out a “boostback” brunge and change their direction from the path via the Atlantic to the way to its starting point. The exhaust from this shot created this ethereal glow and resembled the colorful, glowing gases of a fog.

Where is it?

The CRS-32 start of SpaceX took place from the start complex 39a in the Kennedy Space Center of the NASA in Florida. After the first stage of Falcon 9 had created this light show in the sky, she returned to a landing pad at the Cape Canaveral Space Force station, in a short distance from the point where it was withdrawn.

Why is it incredible?

Although every time a SpaceX Falcon 9 returns to the landing zone 1 or 2 from Cape Canaveral, the “fog” has returned in the first stage in the first stage of Cape Canaveral and is no less seen.
