SpaceX sent 27 of his Starlink internet satellites towards Low Earth orbit from California tonight (April 3).
A Falcon 9 rocket with the Starlink trade, which was steered today at 9:02 p.m. Edt from the Vandenberg Space Force Base (6:02 p.m. Local California period; 0102 GMT on April 4).
A little more than eight minutes later, the first stage of the rocket landed on the SpaceX drone ship “Of course I still love you”, which was stationed in the Pacific. According to a company mission description, it was the fifth start and landing for this special booster.
If everything goes according to plan, the upper stage of the Falcon 9 is used by the Starlink satellites about an hour after retreat.
Today’s start followed a SpaceX double header on Monday (March 31) when the company was another Starlink stack and the mission for private Astronaut astronaut mission from Fram2, the first human space for orbit over the rods on earth.

So far, SpaceX launched 38 Falcon 9 missions in 2025, of which about two thirds of which were devoted to the training of the Starlink Megaconalization.
Starlink is by far the largest satellite network that has ever been assembled. According to astrophysicists and satellite trackers Jonathan McDowell, there are currently more than 7,100 operational spaceships.
