The older brother of the wing player Stan Mill in Oxford United won a second silver medal at the European Athletics Indoor Championships.
George Mills was second in the 3,000 m behind Jakob, after improving a record of British athletics championship in the same event last month with his time of 7: 40.16 by almost 10 seconds.

Mills said on BBC Sport: “When Jakob came around, I knew that this would happen at some point.
“Four hundred, I thought it was a little early to try to defend. I thought: “Okay, I’ll sit and see if I can attack the house.”
At his silver medal, he added: “Everything that would not have been disappointing yet. I think I did the minimum of what I could, but I’m obviously happy to get a silver, but I have to work more for the summer. “
Mills’ father, the former defender Danny Mills in England and Leeds United, said: “It’s terrible, it is really. I said so often that it always observes a penalty shootout.
“The hour or so in advance is absolutely terrible, I have devout hands again when I hit the boards. It’s hard, but there was absolutely everything.
“Jakob a lot of respect, he has to be one of the best of all time. George builds up all the time, becomes more confident, and I am sure that he will have his time sooner than later. “
