The last day of the Paris Fashion Week started as always with Chanel. After a very long month full of shows, the editors and influencers in the Grand Palais gathered to see the last collection of the house from the house before the new creative director Matthieu Blazy arrives (he should start next month and present his first collection for the house in October).
In the meantime, the autumn/winter 2025 collection was created by the in-house studio team, which this season visited the house signatures again, the band, the pearl and flower while nodding the world of fairy tales and playing with conditions.

Topic and inspiration
Autumn/winter 2025 was a celebration of the motifs that Chanel is. The team wanted to reinvent the arc, the band, the pearl and flower and covered the collection in these touches, some oversized and exaggerated on enormous effect.
“The AW25 collection is never far from the universe of fairy tales and conjures up a world of championship and imagination while they make the house codes sublime,” says the show notes.
We saw huge pubs on blouses and clothes, curled collar, huge loops and 3D flowers that are adorned on jackets, and super long -layered pearl chains. It was also a lesson in the mixing clothing codes-brilliant dresses were worn through office-friendly tailoring, exaggerated accessories and tulle overlays with increased evening strokes for the classic tweed suits, while a cozy upper clothing was dressed with loops.
Heroic pieces
The designs with exaggerated arches are inevitably the winners of this collection – especially favorites include the cozy black jumper dress and the silky silky briefs.
The setting
As always, the Chanel show took place in the Grand Palais, which contained a slightly more weakened attitude this season, which perfectly matched the mood of the collection. The set contained an installation that was designed by scenographer Willo Perron, which created a huge black band as a background that reflected the elements of the collection that had played on size, length and ratio on scales.
