TIA, a women’s health society, works with the food of food-as-medicine platforms to offer support for women’s food and nutrition, the companies announced on Thursday.
TIA based in San Francisco offers women personal and virtual support for women. Services include gynecology, basic care, mental health and wellness support. Through the partnership with Nourish based in New York City, the members of TIA have access to virtual personalized nutritional instructions that can satisfy a number of needs, such as: B. hormonal balance, fertility, chronic disease management and weight management.
Nourish match the patients with a registered nutritionist who creates a tailor -made plan that may include coaching, recommendations and progress. According to the announcement, around 94% of the nutritious patients have no expenses.
“Nutrition has always been a cornerstone of Tia’s care model with a deep understanding of the role that plays food and nutrition in our health,” said Jessica Horwitz, Chief Clinical Officer from TIA, in an e -mail. “While we bring this lens into the entire supply that we provide, we wanted to make sure that we had a clinically solid partner for patients who would benefit from a personalized and deeper nutrient competence – provided from registered nutritional areas. Nourish was a clear leader in terms of their ability to offer high -quality nutritional support, all of which were delivered by registered nutritional areas and covered by insurance – which makes them an ideal partner. “
In addition to the services of Nourish, which are integrated into the TIA model, nutritious patients can also be transferred to TIA for supporting basic care. However, they would have to be in a state in which TIA works. The company is in Arizona, New York and California, while Nourish works in all 50 states.
Nutrition is of crucial importance for the health of women, since a poor diet can affect gynecological problems such as polycystic ovarian syndrome that can influence infertility and menopause. That hopes to be nutritiously in this partnership.
“Many diseases that have a disproportionately influence on women, how PCOs, hormonal imbalances, intestinal health problems and metabolic conditions-can significantly improve through nutritional intervention,” said Aidan Dawar, co-founder and CEO from Nourish in an email. “By integrating Nourish services into the TIA model, we want to enable more women with the instruments, education and expert support they need to improve their health results.”
This is not Nourish’s first partnership with a women’s health society. In December it teamed up with the Women’s Dedicine company WISP to support patients with taking GLP-1.
Several other companies have also introduced programs and partnerships to support women’s health. In July, Northwell Health announced that InstaCart work together to support expectant mothers. Farmboxrx launched a health program for mothers last year that sends the members a food box and an educational content to help them during their pregnancy.
