West Ham boss Graham Potter complained about the “clear” foul, which he had missing on Monday evening in the London stadium in the London stadium in the London stadium.
Potter said Newcastle striker Alexander Isak should have been punished for a move against defender Max Kilman after Harvey Barnes had flown in a cross that was turned home by Bruno Guimaraes, which turned out to be a winning goal.
Kilman agreed Potter and said it should have been a foul, and West Ham’s boss claimed that even Isak looked as if he were expected to not be allowed.
Potter said: “We think it’s clear.
“There are two hands on the defender’s back. You can see how Isak celebrates or does not celebrate that he thinks it’s a thrust.
“But those who are important. This is life and you have to continue with it.
“I feel for the players, they put so much into play. It was a really committed performance. “

Kilman said: “I jumped into the air and felt a hard thrust. I am an honest player, I didn’t look for anything.
“I felt that it was a foul and I think it should have been given. But that’s football and we have to go on.”
Thanks to the victory, Newcastle rose to sixth place and is now on points with Manchester City and only two behind Chelsea. West Ham remains 16 ..
Potter added: “It was a game that weakened and flowed a little. We had a good start, then they came back, then we had chances.
“It was a bit of a little game. I don’t think we did enough to win the game, but I thought we could have got something from it.
“We always have to look at. If you lose 1-0, you can do more and more from an attacking perspective. The players gave everything, it was simply not our day today.”
