Prince William announced on Friday that he is such a superstitious supporter of Aston Villa that he often takes back to mix his children in his house in order to give the team a change in happiness.

The 42-year-old eldest son and heir to the head of the UK, King Charles III, also admitted that he often published his football opinions anonymously in fan forums.

“When I’m at home alone with the children, I probably don’t have the pint before the game, but I have a little superstition where I sit when I watch them,” he said to The Sun.

“If we are not doing very well, I start around the house pretty quickly and I put the children in different positions in the hope that this will change our happiness.”

William was in Villa Park on Wednesday to see how the Unai Emery team qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League and defeated the Club Brugge 3-0 to seal a 6-1 win for overall.

He said that he had become a fan of the club based in Birmingham after being brought into the family in games as a disciple.

“With the camaraderie among fans and the singing and singing, I just had the feeling that I belonged there,” he said.

“The rise of the smartphone” made him invest even more.

He said to The Sun: “I had grew up to see Ceefax on TV or on the back pages of the newspapers, and if they didn’t have them at hand, they were a bit out of the loop.”

“I like to go to the forums, I’ve been there for ages. I listen to what other fans have to say and give them my opinion. I am definitely classified on it. It is important to make this debate.”
